Barney’s creative director Simon Doonan may be one of the only people that wants the cast of the Jersey Shore at New York Fashion Week.
In fact, he believes they’re a “much needed ingredient”. Doonan explains why the tents need the overly tanned reality stars saying “the thing that’s so fabulous about them is their complete and utter lack of pretension.”
Nice backhanded compliment, Si.
The creative director also gives styling tips on how he would make over each of the bedazzled Ed Hardy wearing fist pumpers over:
“It would be fun to see JWoww wearing Alexander Wang, or doing a Rodarte thing. Snooki could do a Proenza Schouler something something. I could see Ronnie [Ortiz-Magro] wearing John Bartlett, having a super-butch look. And it would be really fun to put Mike ‘The Situation’ in a Thom Brown suit, but the short pants would probably get stuck on his calves.”
LOLz!
