Sister Wives Star Kody Brown Thinks Ex Christine's Quickie Engagement Is Being 'Staged For TV'

Not everyone is so quick to say “congrats” for this particular question-popping.

If you didn’t hear, Sister Wives star Christine Brown announced on Thursday she had gotten engaged to her new boyfriend. She and David Woolley have only been dating a few short months, so this next step was a real surprise to everyone. What does Christine’s ex Kody Brown think of the news?

Well, he still hasn’t released any kind of public statement, so that’s not a good sign. But it gets worse if you listen to sources close to the reality TV patriarch. An insider spilled to The US Sun on Friday that Kody is blasting his ex in private, saying the whole thing is being staged by TLC! The source said:

“I don’t know if he’s serious or joking, but Kody thinks this is all a stint for TLC to get David on a contract, so he and Christine are relevant.”

Whoa! They added:

“He’s still mad at her. He’s still very angry with her and he feels that she has intentionally pushed all the kids away from him. He does feel this is a way of her kind of one-upping him and mocking him. Kody feels this is all for publicity and to get back at him.

Obviously there’s plenty of bad blood between these two that isn’t going away any time soon. But what about his accusation? Well… we can get where he’s coming from. TLC’s IG page did share Christine’s news simultaneously, so it’s clear they’re very much aware. A cynical person might wonder if this is all an attempt to salvage ratings after the entire premise of Sister Wives was blown up by EVERYONE LEAVING.

Then again, Kody clearly thinks very poorly of his ex, so you do have to take it with a grain of salt. What do YOU think, Perezcious reality fans??
