Who knew a teddy bear could make a great substitute mama!
Baby Sjakie needed some food but its mother wasn’t producing enough for the little one to eat.
And since sloths need a cuddle buddy to nurse, the zookeepers took to the gift shop to find a suitable “mother.”
Unfortunately, Sjakie didn’t care for them and that’s when a two year old saved the day!
A daughter of one the zookeepers offered up her own teddy bear and Sjakie fell in love at first sight.
Now, keepers can feed it milk and pureed veggies through a syringe, just as long as Sjakie has its new cuddle bear!
Just don’t ask Seth MacFarlane‘s Ted to do the same thing! LOLz!
