Smoking Midlife Increases Risk Of Alzheimers
If you’re a smoker and haven├óΓé¼Γäót quit yet, do it! Don’t wait!
Researchers just found another terrible risk associated with tobacco — heavy smoking during the middle of your life more than doubles the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease or dementia as you age.
The study was conducted over a 30 year period. Heavy smokers were 157% more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease and 172% more likely to be diagnosed with vascular dementia than people who did not smoke.
Smoking totally isn’t worth any of the risks! If you can’t seem to quit, go get help — it’s dangerous to continue!
