We’re sure she got the part based on more than just the opportunity to make a tongue-in-cheek shout-out to her own song! LOLz!
As we’ve reported, Katy Perry will be providing the voice of Smurfette in the upcoming movie adaptation of the cartoon The Smurfs, and apparently, she’ll be referencing her break-out smash, I Kissed a Girl, during the film at some point by claiming:
“I smurfed a girl…and I liked it.”
Ha! Too cute!
But we have to ask, gurl – what exactly IS smurfing?
And is it PG-appropriate? We certainly hope so!
LOLz!
