A Stefon movie would have everything and finally answer the question, “WHAT?”
In a recent interview with Larry King, SNL alum Bill Hader, the performer behind Stefon, teased about a potential spinoff movie, saying that the character might “possibly” return:
“We talked a little bit about an idea for a movie but then we were kind of like I don’t think it will work.”
Noooooo! It CAN work. Look Bill, if we can’t go to New York’s hottest clubs, with AH-mazing names like Jelly Bones, Crease, and Gush, we need to at least see them on the big screen in all their weirdness.
No doubt a Stefon movie would be filled with human bathmats, Hobo-cops, and a Russian guy who runs on a treadmill in a Cosby sweater.
Just like Bill, we can barely keep a straight face just thinking about that.
Who knows maybe the movie will happen! If not for us, Stefon, do it for your love of Seth Meyers!
