A choreographer and dancer from the Fox reality competition program So You Think You Can Dance was arrested on Saturday for suspicion of sexual assault!!
Alex Da Silva is being held on $3.8 million bail after allegedly sexually assaulting four of his students!
The salsa dancer had been accused in 2003, 2004 and 2005 of sexual assault, but it wasn’t until the fourth woman came forward on March 28th that the case was reopened. The woman “accused Da Silva of luring her to his home, using a ruse to get her into his bedroom and raping her.”
A detective on the case revealed upsetting details of the connection between the women allegedly assaulted by Da Silva: “These four women don’t know each other at all, yet their reports read basically the same… We’re almost sure there are probably other victims out there and we hope they’ll come forward.”
So awful!
Why were charges never filed in the previous assault cases???
And more importantly, why was Da Silva hired by SYTYCD with accusations of sexual assault on his record???
