Soccer Player Commits Suicide After Learning About Fiance’s Affair

So sad.

Dale Roberts, a 24-year-old goalkeeper for the UK soccer team Rushden and Diamonds, hanged himself on Tuesday after learning about his fiance’s affair with a teammate in May.

Roberts refused to play with his teammate after his fiance’s affair, and was reportedly “heartbroken by the split.”

This is awful. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
