If it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have The Avengers to look forward to it in less than six months…so yeah, we think he deserves this!
The Producers Guild of America have just announced that they’ll be honoring comic book legend Stan Lee with the 2012 Vanguard Award at the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards, which take place on Jan. 21 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Here’s what PGA Awards co-chairs Paula Wagner and Michael Manheim had to say about it in a statement they released today:
“Stan Lee’s creative vision and imagination has produced some of the most beloved and visually stunning characters and adventures in history.”.
Congratulations, Stan! We LOOOVE Marvel superheroes, and we can’t wait to see your characters in lots of new movies, TV shows, and comic books for years to come!
