Meet The Three Hunky Young Actors Who Could Be The Next Han Solo In The Star Wars Spinoff!

With the massive success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens last December, Disney is looking to land the perfect actor to play a young Harrison Ford in the upcoming Han Solo prequel film.
Since hearing about the movie last summer, we not only started to make out own wish list of actors to play the scruffy looking nerf herder, but heard rumors that Disney had their eye on actors like Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, and Logan Lerman.

Now that a bit more time has passed, it seems the list has been narrowed down to three young studs — Alden Ehrenreich, Taron Egerton, and Jack Reynor!
Unlike some of the previously reported names, these men are a bit less known, so let’s meet all the actors in the running to play the captain of the Millennium Falcon!
Alden Ehrenreich

Alden is a 26-year-old actor who’s first big credit was the hit CW show Supernatural. Ehrenreich is probably best known for appearing in both Beautiful Creatures and most recently the Coen Brothers‘ film Hail, Caesar! as a famous cowboy actor who gets cast in a sophisticated drama.
Taron Egerton

Taron is also 26 but is a bit newer to the acting game as his first major credit is Inspector Lewis in 2013. However, the Welsh hottie had his breakout performance in Kingsman: The Secret Service and was even nominated for the EE Rising Star Award at the BAFTAs!
Since Kingsman, Egerton has been in Legend with Tom Hardy and Eddie the Eagle with Hugh Jackman. Oh and let’s not forget he’ll also play Robin Hood in Robin Hood: Origins!
Jack Reynor

This 24-year-old actor is relatively unknown but has certainly done his fair share of bigger projects recently. After appearing in the Vince Vaughn comedy Delivery Man, Jack went on to land a role in Transformers: Age of Extinction, as well as Michael Fassbender‘s Macbeth!
On top of that, Reynor is going to play Brother Wolf in Andy Serkis‘ upcoming Jungle Book: Origins which also stars Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, and Fassbender again!
While no one can ever really replace Harrison Ford, we think they’re found a good trio of finalists for the film that’s set to be released in 2018!
