Steubenville Rape Case: Teenagers Who Bullied Rape Victim Get Probation

And they deserve to get a lot more than that!!
After the two teenage girls who cyberbullied the Steubenville rape victim appeared in court back in March, where they plead guilty to bullying the 16-year-old girl via Facebook and Twitter, they’re now being sentenced to six months of probation.
Attorney Sara Gasser said that the girls admitted to a single misdemeanor charge of telecommunications harassment, and even though this won’t justify what the victim went through, at least some justice is being served.
The grand jury is still checking to see whether other crimes were committed in connection with the rape, so investigators have until May 23 to examine more evidence and interview witnesses.
