Yikes!
Our favorite former Jet Blue flight attendant Steven Slater was arrested for a DUI in Kentucky back when he was working for Delta Airlines in 1997, according to Inside Edition.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and paid a $457 fine.
Apparently he has been battling alcoholism for some time now, which he has opened up about on his MySpace page and he might have fallen over the wagon over recent events.
Police say when they went to arrest Steven in his Long Island home earlier this week they found him in bed drinking with his boyfriend. With blood shot eyes he responded to the police’s question if he had been drinking:
“Yes, while waiting for you to show up.”
Say what you want about Steven — but he’s got balls!
But we do hope he’s able to deal with alcoholism issues safely and successfully!
