Queening is important and fashion must not be sacrificed!
Queen Elizabeth II‘s favorite fashion designer Stewart Parvin has revealed the inner-workings of keeping the English monarch ferociously fashionable, and it includes some third-party shoe-wearing!
Parvin recently expressed:
“[The shoes] have to be immediately comfortable . . . She does get someone to wear them. The Queen can never say, ├óΓé¼╦£I├óΓé¼Γäóm uncomfortable, I can├óΓé¼Γäót walk any more.├óΓé¼Γäó She has the right to have someone wear them in.”
HA! We wonder if there is an official title for the Queen’s shoe-wearer. Royal foot protector?
Parvin also dished some intimate wardrobe deets:
“Every dress has got a name ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ we├óΓé¼Γäóll get that in an email. It├óΓé¼Γäós the only way we know which is which. There is one called Buttercup, which is a really popular one. So they can ask, ├óΓé¼╦£Have you got Buttercup?├óΓé¼Γäó ├óΓé¼╦£Oh it├óΓé¼Γäós that yellow dress!├óΓé¼Γäó The one thing that she likes, so she wears it a lot.
Then they catalogue where the outfit has been worn ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ so if she was going to meet President [Barack] Obama, she wouldn’t wear the same dress. That├óΓé¼Γäós why people will think she wears things once, because there├óΓé¼Γäós such a system.├óΓé¼┬¥
We love that the Queen of England isn’t above wearing an outfit multiple times!
Clothing is meant to be worn…
