Storage Wars Stars Mourn Darrell 'The Gambler' Sheets After His Death

The Storage Wars cast is mourning the lost of Darrell “The Gambler” Sheets.

As we’re sure you know by now, the Storage Wars star sadly died this week at 67 in his hometown of Lake Havasu, Arizona. Since the announcement of his death, some of his co-stars have come out with reactions, mourning the devastating loss.

The first Storage Wars alum to post about Darrell’s passing was Brandi Passante, who was known as Miss Profit on the show. She shared an Instagram post on Wednesday featuring some pics of herself and Darrell over the years. She wrote in the caption:

“I’m at a loss for words! I’ve known Darrel Sheets for many years. I’m just so very sorry, to hear the circumstances of his passing. My heart hurts for Brandon, Zoe, and Kimber.”

She went on to say she’s felt this sort of pain before, and shared a hopeful message:

“I unfortunately lost a parent and a brother to similar situations. I would like to say to everyone, if you are struggling, if you feel hopeless or like no one cares. I assure you they do!! You are not alone. Please reach out for help. You are not taking your pain away, you are transferring it to someone else.”

Wrapping up her post, she added:

“The grief from suicide is endless. There is always help… You can Dial 988 on your phone to connect with a counselor and resources. Never suffer in silence!”

Such a beautiful tribute.

Darrell’s other co-star — and iconic onscreen rival — Dave Hester also reacted to the news. He shared a video on his IG page Thursday. He acknowledged that he heard the news of Darrell’s passing, but said he’d be ignoring any “silly” comments regarding the situation. He then addressed the claims of cyberbullying:

“I know there was some stuff there about cyberbullying. I don’t even know how that exists because I turn that type of stuff off. But I’m sure it’s out there. And if it’s happening, or happened, I hope that it’s taken care of the way it should be.”

Dave continued, saying Darrell was “a big part of the Storage Wars family”:

“He was a big part of the show for a long time. Storage Wars has a big family. They’re still going and will keep going. And we’ll stick together. We all love Darrell Sheets. Even though he wasn’t actively filming at the time, he’s always there. Some of my best battles are with him. Again, those will just be good memories.”

Wrapping up, he said:

“I hope the best for his family and everything and everybody’s where they need to be, at peace. I hope he’s in a better place. That’s all I can say.”

Such kind posts from both of them. It’s clear Darrell was very loved by his cast mates. May he rest in peace.
