Student Says His Texas School Kicked Him Out Because He Was Gay!

no title
Ugh!
A 17-year-old student named Austin says the school he was attending forced him to leave because he was gay.
The school had found out about this because of a YouTube channel Austin was operating that posted videos of himself trying to encourage other teens to feel OK with coming out with their sexual preference.
However the school’s principal recently called Austin to his office where he told Austin the following:

“He said that in the Bible, it declares that being a homosexual is a sin and we cannot have you promoting a sinful lifestyle on air to the public.”

Austin was shocked that he was given an ultimatum: either take down the videos or go to another school.
And while the principal of Houston’s Lutheran High North talked about morals clauses, Austin was not about to hide who he was. He said:

“I don’t want to go back into the closet. That’s not what I want to do.”

We don’t blame him!

And while the private school has refused to talk about the allegations, the Lutheran Education Association of Houston did have something to say about all this. Executive director Wayne Kramer said:

“We respectfully require students to adhere to these accepted values and moral beliefs. Students have to make choices and decide whether their beliefs align with our community.”

And while Austin understand that the school he was attending is a private school and thus can make any decision they want to, he’s now seriously wondering how “moral” or “ethical” their actions are.
We seriously doubt the school’s actions are anything but awful!
