High school student Dan DePaolis dressed up as a knight rode his horse to school in Hamilton, Massachusetts.
The Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School was having a “spirit week” and on that specific day kids were asked to dress up as knights. Dan thought it would be perfect to ride his horse Pierre to school for this event!
Apparently he was wrong, since Dan and his parents who accompanied him were met in the parking lot by the associate principal who suspended him right there on the spot.
The horse was seen to be a major safety threat, since it could have spooked and hurt the students. “They told my son it’s the equivalent of bringing in a loaded firearm to school,” Ron DePaolis, Dan’s father said.
We don’t know if it is quite that dangerous!!
Maybe Dan should have asked before riding Pierre to school?? What do U think?
