After Time Warner Cable Goes Out For ONE Hour During The Super Bowl, Company Gives Their SoCal Customers The Lamest Apology Ever!

twc blackout super bowl amends
Angry Time Warner Cable customers are still angry today after demanding that TWC pay up for going down for an HOUR during the Super Bowl in Southern California!
Refund? HA. Time Warner Cable has never done anything that would actually COST them money. Instead, the company announced that all L.A.-area customers would automatically receive a gift of ‘appreciation’ following the blackout — a free movie.
They said in a statement:

├óΓé¼┼ôDigital TV customers will receive a credit for the cost of an On Demand movie once purchased, and analog customers will receive a $5 gift card. These will be provided automatically; no customer action is necessary.”

Cool story. Not only do they drop the ball during the biggest night of the year for TV sports, but they basically offer a middle finger for fans everywhere that were out of luck during the blackout!
The blackout lasted about an hour, but people could still watch it on high-definition on Fox HD channel 411.
Not sure how that’s a good excuse for poor sesrvice, but whatever!
Enjoy watching your free digital movie that is only a rental and you totally don’t get to keep, customers!
