Tara the cat is a true American hero!
She’s the kitty who saved Jeremy, her four-year-old human brother, from a vicious dog attack.
One day, Erica and Roger Triantafilo were followed home by Tara from a Bakersfield, California park. That was about six years ago and Tara has been their pet ever since!
Even though Erica is allergic to cats! They must reallllllly love their kitty!
Talking about the attack on his son, Roger said:
“It’s pretty amazing to see just a cat take on a dog and selflessly put herself out there. That dog did not even know what hit him.”
The family said their kitty has always been protective of Jeremy, even sleeping in his crib when he was a baby.
Tara also loves her two younger twin human brothers.
Speaking about her kitty baby, Erica said:
“She’s the most mellow cat you’ve ever seen. All our boys love her… and she loves them right back.”
This is all just so incredible!
What’s amazing is this hero cat is getting everything she deserves and more… she’ll be throwing out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game next week!!
Seriously… She’s going to throw out the first pitch for the Bakersfield Blaze, a class A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds!
That’s hilarious and wonderful! Tara and Jeremy will take to the pitcher’s mound together!
