Tati Westbrook & James Charles Respond To Jeffree Star's Latest Video -- Is This Feud OVER?!

Tati Westbrook James Charles Jeffree Star feud over

As quickly as this high-profile YouTube beauty community feud took fire, it’s also been snuffed out — just like that!
As we reported on Sunday evening, Jeffree Star did his part to try and put an end to the ongoing, fiery feud between him, Tati Westbrook, and James Charles — and judging by the reaction those two had to Star’s most recent video, well, it appears the draw-down worked!

As you’ll recall, Star noted in his video that he nearly went to some deep, dark places in the last week after his (and Tati’s) receipts-driven conflict with Charles escalated day after day. But then, it seems, Star had an epiphany (which we predicted, BTW!) and walked back the heightened emotions, trying to inject some common sense into the whole situation.
And it’s working.
Not long after Star posted his nearly 15-minute long vid effectively asking for all of this to be done with, Westbrook released her own new (and apparently final) message on the situation via Twitter.
She wrote (below):

“I have been in communication with James Charles through an intermediary for the last week, and we believe that it is in the best interest of our community, our viewers, and our own mental health to put this matter to rest.
For that reason, I will not be making any further public comments and I hope and pray that no one else will make anymore hurtful statements on my behalf. In my original video, I felt the need to publicly break up with James with a warning call loud enough for him to hear. I was attempting to explain my upset and concerns so that everyone would understand my position and end the speculation that it was all over vitamins. Over the last eight years, I built my career based on honesty, integrity, and trying my best to do what I thought was right. The toxicity and chaos that ensued over the last 10 days was absolutely not my goal, as it was a fight that I was almost certain to lose.
Although I do not regret raising my concerns, I completely regret the way I went about saying them, I could have and should have found a better way. Even in this moment, I still have so many things I’d like to clear up, however the continued call for ‘receipts’ is nothing more than a call for never-ending bloodshed. As such, I’m setting aside my overwhelming need to be understood and will continue my conversations with everyone in private.
I hope that our community is somehow strengthened from all of this madness and that we will all strive to hold ourselves and each other to a higher standard.
To my audience, I need you to know that I’m blessed to have your support and love making videos for you guys. I’m truly sorry for all of the hate this brought to our doorstep. I love you and look forward to returning to my regular content soon.”

Wow. Very remorseful and introspective — and significantly more well-written than another recent public apology within this sphere
Here it is, on the 280-character social networking site (below):

It’s interesting — Westbrook’s tweet here garnered a BIG reaction from fans calling her out for being an opportunist in regards to the first video and a hypocrite for walking things back so quickly after making so many accusations in the first place.
Do they have a point?

Tati wasn’t the only one doing some serious soul-searching, though.
Less than an hour after Westbrook’s tweet echoing Star’s main desire to squash things, Charles came out with his own quick, simple message about the whole thing, as well (below):

And just as Tati took fire from fans calling her out for perceived bad behavior in regards to the original video, social media users seemed to be far more supportive of Charles after his desire to move things along. Double standard? Or is he starting to really gain back some fans?? Hmm…
Anyways, is that it? After a very MESSY week, is this whole drama over and done with?!
What do U think, Perezcious readers?? Where will these three go from here?! Can they reconcile collectively as friends and business partners, or will they go their separate ways?? Is the in-fighting and controversy really over?!
Sound OFF on all of this and more in the comments (below)!
