Jeffree Star Uploads A New Video About James Charles: 'Things Are Getting Crazy And Dangerous'

Jeffree Star is walking it back a bit.
The makeup mogul posted his much-expected video about the ongoing drama surrounding James Charles and Tati Westbrook on Sunday afternoon, but instead of keeping his foot down on the gas pedal to drive the controversy further, he’s pumping the brakes quite a bit — and it honestly might be for the better!

Calling it “a huge wake-up call to reel me in,” Jeffree claims in the video (above) the he is completely done with the “tea, and the drama,” straight up telling the viewers that he’s finished with stoking drama and pushing controversies.
It’s a very interesting video to watch; Star openly apologizes to Charles’ brother for a mean tweet, and also fully apologizes to all of his own viewers because of the things he’s done in the past — both related to the James Charles fiasco, and otherwise.
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) — it’s almost exactly like what we predicted: a very, very conciliatory look for Jeffree here that shows some maturity, and definitely takes the high road in trying to completely end the Jeffree-James-Tati feud that, until now, seemed like it was going to grow on and on and last forever.

Where It All Began…

As you’ll recall, things started more than a week ago when Tati called out James Charles in a long video outlining and detailing the places where she felt he’d fallen short as a friend and colleague. From there, Westbrook and Charles — and increasingly Starr, as well as some other members of the beauty community and beyond on YouTube — began to call each other out, post receipts of DMs and text messages, and accuse each other of various things in a way that was very quickly spiraling out of control.
Whether or not you take Starr being the bigger person as a cynical move or an authentic one, somebody pretty much had to do it like this, or else these three may well have kept fighting forever, until it took down all three of their careers. Who knows, really — that could still happen — but smart money says things begin to die down now that Jeffree has effectively waved the white flag on further response video and diss clips.
Thank goodness!!!
What do U think about this, Perezcious readers??? Did Jeffree do the right thing by taking the high road here? Or is it too little, too late?! Sound OFF about it in the comments (below)…
