The winner of Taylor Frankie Paul‘s season of The Bachelorette is speaking out after the cancellation news!
For those who don’t know, Reality Steve — the longtime go-to source for all things Bachelor Nation — revealed that Doug Mason got the 31-year-old reality star’s final rose.
They supposedly got engaged but broke up a month after filming ended in December. However, fans won’t get to see their love story play out because ABC pulled Taylor’s season due to a video showing her physically attacking her baby daddy/ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, back in 2023, which led to her arrest. The footage dropped amid reports of an ongoing investigation into an alleged domestic dispute between the former couple.

Taylor’s life is a complete mess right now, and Doug is shockingly showing his support for her despite their split! He posted a video to Instagram Stories on Friday to say:
“In light of everything that has happened, I am just sending prayers to Taylor because that was her moment, and her moment was blocked. All we can do right now is just be hopeful, and I am headed off to run to watch the sunrise. I hope you guys have a great day, and let’s stay positive and show nothing but support for people in need.”
It appears Doug may or may not support the theories that Dakota purposefully leaked everything to sabotage Taylor!
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has since reacted to the video. She took to the comments section of social media personality Stephanie Tleiji‘s post about his response to say:
“Aw my heart goes out to him
so sweet”
so sweet”
At least Taylor seemingly ended things on good terms with Doug! Problems with another ex is the last thing she needs right now!
