Did Taylor Swift rip off Spike Jonze for her Delicate music video concept??
Well, the internet seems to think that’s the case!! As we previously reported, on Sunday, Miz Swift dropped her highly anticipated, new visual during the iHeartRadio Music Awards. While many fans were busy praising the vid online, others took to Twitter to condemn its eery similarities to Jonze’s Kenzo fragrance commercial.

Specifically, the video shows Taylor dancing around a hotel lobby while dressed in an elegant gown, a concept almost identical to Spike’s project starring Margaret Qualley. Not only is the choreography very similar, but many of the shots are alike as well. You can take a look at the two vids in question (below)!
Huh. If imitation is the highest form of flattery, than Jonze is likely VERY FLATTERED right now. WE TEASE (sort of)…
Of course, it didn’t take long for those online to notice the similarities. Both fans and haters weighed in:
taylor swift’s “delicate” video is a poor man’s version of spike jonze’s ad for Kenzo, this bop deserved more pic.twitter.com/39Ub99bKqc

Anybody else notice that the @taylorswift13 “Delicate” music video ripped off Spike Jonze’s Kenzo video? It’s almost beat-for-beat, just with worse dancing. pic.twitter.com/0hGKxBTn22

We see you with a copy of #MargaretQualley dancing in #SpikeJonze @kenzo commercial.

I *really* respect the work that @taylorswift13 put into the choreography of her new DELICATE. Never seen her move like this, didn’t even think it was possible? This is @JosephKahn’s getting his Spike Jonze on; it’s Taylor’s WEAPON OF CHOICE. https://t.co/grLTFe9Ij1

Taylor Swift’s “Delicate” video is weirdly similar to the Spike Jonze KENZO World commercial ├░┼╕┬ñΓÇ¥

back to @taylorswift13 delicate video – reminds me of the Kenzo perfume advert and that old fatboy slim spike jonze video. (not as manic though)

Taylor Swift and Joseph Kahn probably want to give Spike Jonze a ‘thank you’ credit #justsayin

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time a Joseph Kahn directed video has caused Taylor controversy. In case you forgot, back when the Look What You Made Me Do vid dropped, Swift was accused of ripping off Beyonc├â┬⌐‘s Formation visual.
What do YOU think?? Are the videos too similar??
