Taylor Swift has extended a wedding invite to an unexpected former friend!
Back in the day, you couldn’t see Taylor without her bestie Karlie Kloss. They were practically inseparable since meeting in 2013, especially during the singer’s 1989 era. From award shows to even the cover of Vogue, they went everywhere together.
Until they didn’t.
It was around 2017 and 2018 that a rift became apparent. The pals stopped hanging out. It was never totally clear why. Some thought the model’s choice to marry Josh Kushner, one of Donald Trump‘s advisors, in 2018 was a breaking point, considering the musician’s never been a fan of the Prez.

Others suspected Karlie’s 2019 vacation with Scooter Braun was another dealbreaker, considering Taylor’s very public feud with the music manager. If anything, it seemed like these two just didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of major things anymore.
But now? Now, Karlie’s getting invited to the wedding of the year!
TMZ sources revealed on Tuesday that the ex-besties have mended their friendship — so much so, Taylor is willing to have Karlie at her nuptials in NYC on July 3rd. Whoa!
While there were real issues between the friends, according to the insiders, it’s no longer an issue. They reportedly made up a while ago, despite not being seen together in years. And we saw signs of a positive shift in the stalled friendship when Karlie reacted to the pop star’s engagement news. Because of making up, Taylor’s got no problem including Karlie in her special day with Travis Kelce. Well, that’s nice!
It says a lot, too, since some of Taylor’s more recent BFFs aren’t making the cut!
