When Taylor Swift told us to Shake It Off, we didn’t realize she was referring to warnings of imminent danger!
London’s Luton Airport was shut down and evacuated for more than four hours on Monday due to a bomb scare after a passenger noticed smoke coming from a piece of luggage.
But that didn’t stop Taylor.
According to sources at the airport, the RED singer and her entourage slipped right by all the hubbub and got right on their private jet. The source said:
“Swift’s convoy consisted of a white Porsche, a silver Mercedes van and a black Range Rover. It has somehow managed to navigate its way to a closed airport where Swift was able to board her flight. Thousands of other passengers were not so lucky.”
According to the airport, Taylor’s was one of only three flights that were allowed to leave.
Geez! Obviously we don’t want Taylor to miss her tour dates, but what if there had been serious danger? Was it really worth the risk??
Eventually the bomb squad arrived and destroyed the bag. It turned out to contain two hair straighteners that had presumably been left on. (How do you even do that???)
Maybe Taylor knew there wasn’t any trouble when she walked in…
