The people of Watch Hill, Rhode Island do not want Taylor Swift to be their girl next door.
It seems the country singer, who spent $17 million on a beach front mansion in the area, has been causing a stir amongst locals, thanks to an increased amount of security.
A source revealed:
“Now that summer has come and people are getting ready to use the beach, people are really grumbling about having Taylor in town. Her property line is at the path to the public beach and she always has guards patrolling the area. It’s making it such a hassle.”
As if that wasn’t frustrating enough, Swiftie’s property also borders a local teen and surfer hang out spot. Now that she’s taken up residence, “her guards are always asking them to leave.”
Though we understand Swiftie’s need for extra security, given her incident with the overeager stalker fan last month, might this be a bit excessive??
The source added:
“If she wanted privacy, she shouldn’t have bought a house overlooking a public beach!”
