Taylor Swift Wins The Taylor Swift Award For Being Taylor Swift! (Seriously, It's A Real Award!)

It’s like she was born to win this award or something…
Taylor Swift has become so unbeatable when it comes to award shows, they’re starting to just give her her very own category.
We’re serious — The 26-year-old singer just won the Taylor Swift Award at the BMI Pop Awards on Tuesday night, and we think it’s safe to say she earned it!

As she accepted the honor onstage, Tay Tay was quick to point out how silly it is to have her own award, saying:

“If they had chosen somebody else, I’d be, like, kind of bummed about it…”

Very fair. As long as they don’t make this an O Magazine thing and give it to her EVERY year…
Luckily, Taylor made sure to end her speech on a serious note, saying:

“This night has been unbelievable. Many of us in this room could only dream of accomplishing what you guys have accomplished.
My favorite part [of life] is when I’m in a conversation with my friends and my eyes glaze over and I like awkwardly run into a corner [and start singing a melody] and then I have to explain to them that I have this issue called ‘I love songwriting so much that it interrupts my daily life!’ I know you all have it too and congratulations on your evening, I’m so happy to be among you.”
