No one had any idea Taylor Swift was going to take the stage at the Tight End University concert. Because not even she knew!
The surprise rendition of Shake It Off — her first live performance since the end of The Eras Tour — was truly just as unplanned as it was presented. The band really found out three minutes beforehand and learned the song with tabs scribbled down by Tay. She was just there to support Travis Kelce at his Nashville football event with fellow tight ends George Kittle and Greg Olsen. The “really really really really special guest” drop-in was a spur of the moment treat for everyone there.
And now an insider is spilling why she chose to do it!

The source told DailyMail.com on Thursday it’s all about “the f word.” Don’t worry, fellow LGBTQ community, they’re talking about “fun”! LOLz! The insider explained:
“She thought it would be fun to perform, and it made sure eyeballs were firmly on the Tight End University that Travis holds very close to his heart.”
Thus far Taylor hasn’t really tried to use her fame and talent to support Travis. She has so much gravitational pull, the Taylor Effect just kind of happens wherever she goes. But this was different. She LOVES how much Trav has supported her, and she saw an opportunity to show give him something no one else ever could:
“Travis was there at so many of her shows and even took part. She is now repaying the favor.”

The most important point the source wanted to make clear for everyone? This absolutely was not Tay playing 4-D chess, trying to create a fun and fluffy story to drown out the Blake Lively drama!
