New info has come in, and it looks like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were never meant to get married in New York City!
Any true Swiftie knows there has been a LOT of talk about where everyone’s favorite English and gym teacher are getting married. Initial rumors were that they were tying the knot on June 13th at Ocean House resort in Rhode Island, where the singer has a home. It made perfect sense — especially when you factor in the excellent numerology of it all!
But suddenly, those rumors shifted to July 3rd at Madison Square Garden. So, what changed? Was Ocean House never an option?
Well, buckle up, folks. We’ve finally got some evidence about what’s really going on behind the scenes!

According to TMZ on Thursday, Taylor and Travis really were planning to get married at Ocean House on June 13. How do they know this?! Well, apparently, there was a massive fireworks show planned as part of the reception! However, plans changed in mid-May when the company that was handling the light show was alerted that the event was cancelled and moved to… yup, New York! The bride and groom supposedly pulled the plug on the original venue after the news leaked.
We’re sorry they had to switch up their plans — especially since hosting the wedding at Madison Square Garden feels VERY different! But we hope they can rebound with just as special of a party!
That said, it makes you wonder… Could these two have already tied the knot? Or is that coming imminently?
Many sources now believe that MSG will be the site of a large party — but that the wedding will be more private. If they’d already been planning to get married on June 13, did they go ahead with it in secret?
Or now that they both seem to have stepped out for bachelor and bachelorette parties, could it be happening this weekend?! Hmm.
