Through social media and a loooong legal battle, Prada the dog has been saved!
Three city courts in Nashville ordered the part pit bull put down after she broke loose and attacked other dogs in an upscale neighborhood.
But her owner, Nicole Andree, wouldn’t stop until Prada was saved.
Andree took to social media sites to petition for her dog’s life. The news made it all the way to Governor Bill Haslam, but he refused to pardon a dog and said it was a local matter.
But she didn’t stop!
Andree begged a Tennessee judge to spare her doggie’s life if she agreed to send Prada to Villalobos Rescue in Nawlins.
If this rescue center sounds familiar, it’s because it’s featured as an Animal Planet show, Pitbulls and Parolees, where dogs and ex-cons rehabilitate together.
While the dog is spared, Prada must spend the rest of her life at Villalobos Rescue.
Andree is relieved her dog gets to live, even though she’ll miss her.
Thankfully, Prada is a free gurl!
