Plus-Size Model Tess Holliday Lands Her First Major Magazine Cover On People

Tess Holliday stays winning!
Earlier this year she became the first plus-size model of her particular size and height (she’s 5’5″ and currently a size 22) to be signed to a major agencyMiLK Management in London.

And this month she’s landed her first major magazine cover with this appearance on the front of People!
Not only that, but she gets profiled inside the publication as well!
The 29-year-old has come a long, long way from her days as a bullied teen who was rejected after her first casting call at age 15, when she was told, “You have a pretty face, but you’re too short and you’re too big.”
Tess didn’t let that stop her, though, and nearly 15 years later she’s landed several major campaigns — with Torrid and Benefit Cosmetics — been on the cover of LA Weekly, and now finds herself busier than ever!

“My phone still hasn’t stopped ringing. It’s good, but it’s a lot! I just got back from London three weeks ago. I’m going to New York this week, then next week I’m going to Montreal and New York again. Then I go to Seattle, New Orleans and Vegas after that, all for work!”

She even got a shoutout from Amber Rose on Instagram!
We predict even greater things on the horizon! Yay!
