Congratulations are in order for Vanessa Grimaldi!
The 32-year-old former contestant on The Bachelor took to Instagram on Monday to announce her great news: she said yes to boyfriend Joshua Wolfe, and the two are officially engaged after publicly dating for a little more than a year and a half!

Of course, Grimaldi was previously engaged to Nick Viall after appearing on his season of the hit reality TV show back in 2017. Their relationship didn’t work out and soon fizzled after the show ended as Grimaldi, a French-speaking Canadian born in Montréal, opted to stay in her home city rather than move to Los Angeles full-time to be with Nick.
The teacher and reality TV alum traveled to Québec City with Wolfe ahead of her engagement this weekend, showing off highlights including the couple’s hotel setting, outdoor yoga sessions, and more over the long weekend. Then, the culmination came when le businessman popped the question on a set of stairs decorated with a stunning display of lights, dropping down to a knee and bringing Grimaldi to tears:
Awww! Follow that up with a champagne toast, and you’ve got the most memorable weekend EVER! Grimaldi noted as much in her write-up along with that series of photos (above), as she captioned the carousel:
“August 9th, 2020 will forever be my favourite DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! @jbrwolfe YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING AND I CANNOT WAIT TO BE FOREVER AND EVER WITH YOU!!!!!!”
Love it!!
Viall himself quickly shared his well-wishes for the happy couple in the comments section of the post hours after it went live, too, writing:
“Well thank god I followed you back a week ago to hear this news. Congrats to you two! Lucky guy. ❤️ ???? .”
That’s in reference to his own recent social media activity; Viall and Grimaldi recently re-followed each other on Instagram after she appeared on an episode of his Viall Files podcast! What timing!
The podcast hasn’t been released to the public yet, but presumably the two are on fairly solid terms afterward considering the nice comment made by Nick here. Though not too close since he found out on social media with the rest of us! LOLz!

And recent Bachelor alum Madison Prewett added her own special flare, calling Grimaldi her “queen” in a comment:
“I AM CRYING. So happy for you. My queen you deserve the world and more.”
