This is absolutely shameful.
In light of the three New York town clerks who have refused to comply with the state’s new marriage equality laws and therefore, not marry same-sex couples due to their religious beliefs, The Courage Fund, which is an initiative from evangelical Protestants disputing the law, have created a series of videos in support of these individuals, including this one, featuring Rose Marie Belforti!

Again her one sole argument seems to be:
“I am a Christian, and the Bible tells me that marriage is between a man and a woman, so I don’t feel that I can endorse the new law, the policy for same-sex people to be married. I don’t feel it’s right.”
Okay, fine. But once again – when you take a job that makes you A WARD OF THE STATE, you have to adhere to separation of church and state, just like everyone else! So if your faith means that you cannot do the job that you’ve CHOSEN to its fullest capacity, AKA by not being able to follow the LAW, then yes, you need to either reason or face the consequences!
HOW DARE you record a video that even REMOTELY suggests that you are a victim in any way, shape or form! What you’re doing is an actual CRIME against our community, whether you agree with it or not!
