As reported earlier, Rihanna and Chris Brown blew our minds with their remixes. You know, the ones that they sing on TOGETHER. The pair have been getting a lot of slack along praise, but to the naysayers, we say this:
RiRi WANTED this to happen!
Super producer and singer The-Dream gives all the credit to RiRi when it comes to her Birthday Cake remix.
The-Dream takes a laissez-faire approach to the RiRi-Breezy affair, saying he just shows up for his friend, Rihanna, and gets it done.
He said the following about Rihanna’s mindset:
For me, it’s just music — two talented people doing a record together, doing two records together, and that’s what it was. It wasn’t about an incident that happened. The true thing really is to forgive, and├óΓé¼┬ª you want to believe in people.
This is about her. If she can forgive, that’s where she is mentally. As a friend, it’s like, ‘Okay, cool. Let’s roll.
It’s just business as usual for The-Dream!
RiRi and Breezy do work well as a team, even if it can be volatile at times.
