We REALLY hope this is the last time we hear about David engaging in such deplorable behavior!
Earlier today, we heard that The Fighter director David O. Russell was questioned by police for feeling up his pre-op transgender relative Nicholas Peloquin.
Now, a rep for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida has announced that David won’t be charged with anything over the incident.
Here’s why he’ll get off the hook, according to the rep:
“…Because it’s an allegation of simple battery that was not witnessed by law enforcement.”
Peloquin COULD still bring the case to the State’s Attorney…but it’s looking like that probably won’t happen at this point.
David should feel VERY lucky that he’s not getting in trouble for this…although it’s certainly going to hurt his reputation. We’ll definitely think twice before we go see his upcoming movies Nailed and The Silver Linings Playbook.
