Adam Lambert and Kris Allen shared some final thoughts about tonight’s Idol finale at a press conference yesterday.
When discussing how Allen’s background as a Christian church singer could influence his chances, he dismissed it by saying that the final decision ├óΓé¼┼ôhas to do with talent. It├óΓé¼Γäós not about religion or all that stuff.├óΓé¼┬¥
Jesus can’t help you!
Lambert hopes “people would vote based on what they hear. It’s an equal opportunity situation.”
Damn right!
Adam commented that he didn’t feel his theater experience helped him in the competition. “This isn’t theater so I don’t see how it matters at all. We both have experience,” he said.
Kris continued by saying, “I have just as much experience as he has — I just wasn’t in Wicked.”
Meow! Don’t hate!
As they both prepare for the show, Allen is simply going to rehearse and try and get ready while Glambert is “going to order a really big room service breakfast. Something with lots of hollandaise.” Then, off to get ready! “I have a very messy bathroom situation. Kris has like three products and I have every product I can get my hands on.”
Adam summed it up for both of them, “At this point we both feel like we’ve already won.”
