It’s happening Gleeks. You’re moment is finally here. There’s only one chance for one you to make it into the halls of McKinley High and this is it! Prepare yourselves!
The press release has just gone out confirming that Glee executive producers Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto are on board as the executive producers of Oxygen’s new reality competition series, The Glee Project.
The 10-episode series will premiere this June and document the process of finding, training and selecting the next big star for the hit FOX show. The winner of the competition will receive an unprecedented prize: a seven episode guest-starring role in the third season of the show!
Such a deal!
The show, according to the release, “breaks new ground” as it’s the first time an unscripted reality series on one network awards a winner a role on another network.
But it’s all good, Gleeks, because this same process is how we were blessed with Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss this season. Ain’t nothing wrong with either of those boys!
What a superb way to fill the void left in our Glee-loving hearts this summer when the majestic Rachel Berry won’t be around to serenade us! We’re thrilled!
Speak up, Gleeks! Think U will tune in to the show?
