Universal and Imagine will be producing The Originals, a dramatic script penned by actress Bryce Dallas Howard and writing partner Dane Charbeneau, which could serve as a directing platform for her father Ron Howard.
The writing of The Originals turned into a family affair and the production itself calls for an ensemble cast about “a group of twentysomethings who reconvene for a weekend in New York after learning that the teacher who shaped their childhoods has fallen into a mysterious coma.”
