Good news for the Jonas Brothers. The heads at Disney Channel have decided to keep their show, Jonas, around for another season.
The kids’ cable network has ordered a full season to begin taping in February and air mid next year.
Disney’s Worldwide entertainment president Gary Marsh says of the JoBros, “These guys are the superstars of their generation. We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did.”
But that’s not it for the JoBros.
Disney Channel has also picked up for a second season their mini reality series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream.
And filming for that is already underway with a premiere set for early next year.
Interesting to note, though: Michael Curtis and Roger S.H. Schulman, the executive producers who launched Jonas, have parted ways with the show and have now been replaced with showrunner Lester Lewis and director Paul Hoen.
Creative differences?
