The London Olympics Security Is Poor, USA To The Rescue

2012 Olympic Security
For our own contestants, that is, as the organizing committee has admitted that it needs to double the amount of guards.
Apparently the 2012 London Olympics security isn’t quite beefy enough, so we’re sending 1,000 of our own agents in addition to the surface-to-air missiles the UK is going to be using.
As someone who knows what to expect for security measures, the former minister urged for there to be:

A full range of multi-layered defence and deterrence for the London Games, including ground-to-air based missiles in London. Since the Atlanta Games there has been an internationally accepted minimal level of protection for the Olympics.

And the Defense Secretary said:

├óΓé¼╦£I can assure you that all necessary measures to ensure the security and safety of the London Olympic Games will be taken including, if the advice of the military is that it is required, appropriate ground-to-air defences.”

Good! We’re glad security will be so tight, and even tighter with our agents running around too.
And of those 1,000 US agents we mentioned: 500 of them will be FBI.
We’d much rather be over-prepared than under, that’s for sure!
Can’t wait to see the games!
