They need to make up their mind about this project, already!
Last we heard about the new Poltergeist movie, MGM had reportedly decided NOT to reboot the series, but instead make a sequel.
Now, we’ve got an update on the project from Roy Lee, who is in talks to produce the new Poltergeist flick.
Here’s what he had to say about it:
“The one that I├óΓé¼Γäóm most excited about updating is the Poltergeist reboot. That is probably something that somebody, hopefully next year, will be able to accomplish… I├óΓé¼Γäóm in talks [to produce it for MGM].”
Ugh. We are REALLY skeptical about this idea! We absolutely LOVE the original Poltergeist, and we cannot emphasize enough how disappointed we’ll be if they mess this up!
We’re pretty sure we’ve said this before a million times, but leave the classics alone, Hollywood! Let’s bring out some new ideas please.
