Sir Anthony Hopkins Tops The Box Office With The Rite

What a slow weekend at the box office.
Not much came out this weekend, except for Sir Anthony Hopkins‘ The Rite, which opened at number one, but below expectations with $15 million.
No Strings Attached starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher came in number two in its second week with $13.7 million.
The other opener this week, Jason Statham‘s The Mechanic, came in number three with $11.5 million.
The Green Hornet and The King’s Speech rounded out the top five.
Hmm, seems like The King’s Speech got a bump from all its Oscar buzz.
