Sucks for Dick!
The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear out Survivor alum Richard Hatch.
The first-ever winner of Survivor wanted the highest court in the land to take another look at his conviction for failing to pay taxes on the $1 million prize he won on the show’s debut season.
The Supreme Court did not specify why they rejected his appeal.
Ouch!
Hatch was sentenced to four years and three months in prison after his 2006 conviction for tax evasion in a Rhode Island federal court.
He is scheduled to be released in October 2009.
Dick raised something pretty outrageous in his appeal.
He said that CBS had promised to pay his taxes if he kept his mouth shut about cheating that was going on during the competition.
CBS has of course denied the claim.
Did the Supreme Court not appreciate Hatch’s desperado move?
Don’t mess with the Taxman, y’all!
He always wins!
