Yes! We are in DIRE need of some new tunes from these lovely ladies!
The Veronicas have remained pretty quiet on the music front for the past five years since 2007’s Hook Me Up, and although they teased new material coming soon back in March, we now have word on their upcoming third album, Life On Mars, due out in September!
And they’ve got one pretty BADASS collaborator for the new tunes!
Jess Origliasso‘ boyfriend – and Smashing Pumpkins frontman – Billy Corgan, who contributed a heavy-metal guitar riff on their lead single, dropping in July!
Lisa Origliasso reveals:
“People are like: ‘What have you been doing these last five years – you just fell off the face of the earth’? We’ve been literally holed up in a studio for two years in our ‘zone’ so we almost feel like we’re emerging back into reality again. Getting to come home really is exciting for us!”

It sounds as though you’ve really hit your stride creatively, and we’re thrilled to get the opportunity to hear what we’ve been so desperately missing for the past few years!
