This isn’t going to do much to gain viewers, but at least it is a solid effort.
For the first time in the channels history, The Weather Channel will be playing full length Hollywood mega-flicks all about, well, WEATHER!
Starting next Friday, the channel will be trying out having a Friday night movie, starting with the George Clooney flick A Perfect Storm.
How apropos!
Other flicks that the execs intend to show include March of the Penguins, Deep Blue Sea and Misery?! (We guess it has something to do with a “blinding snowstorm” nightmare.)
They should also show the Day After Tomorrow (with the yummy Jake Gyllenhaal) and Georgia Rule, so people can watch Lindsay Lohan’s career catch on fire and never stop sucking ash from there.
