This sounds like a great idea!
NBC saw a big dip in ratings for this year’s live musical, and it’s making them have big plans for next time!
The network’s Bob Greenblatt already announced that they had a deal for the Music Man, but now details are coming out that The Wizard Of Oz story may actually be their next choice!

Greenblatt made the announcement at the TCA press tour on Friday, saying that The Wiz was hot in 2013, but the network eventually nixed the idea for their dramatic straight-to-series order.
But now the idea is back on the table in the form of a musical!
Would you rather see The Wiz or Music Man next holiday season???
