The Underworld franchise is about to seriously diverge from what we all know and love, which of course is Kate Beckinsale kicking monster butt in skintight pleather.
Gurl will not be returning for the sequel!
But with sadness comes a silver lining, in the form of a really, really, ridiculously hot guy.
Theo James, who had a smaller role in the 4th film Underworld: Awakening, is going to take over skintight pleather duties!
Now that Divergent has put those cheekbones clearly in the public eye, producers have decided to ramp up his role and make him the lead starting with the as-yet-untitled Underworld 5!
As much as we love to look at Theo do anything, it’s sad to see one of the few female action heroes going away. Maybe Kate will find another hobby besides fighting werewolves.
