Nanny Dawn is, once again, speaking out.
As we reported, on Tuesday, Thomas Ravenel was arrested for assault and second degree battery charges, and was released on bond.

The former Southern Charm star’s arrest stems from an alleged 2015 incident between him and Dawn, who previously told People that she is the one who reported Ravenel on May 7.
In a People article published on Wednesday, the Bravo personality’s former employee is reacting to the drama.
According to the caretaker, she was not aware of his bond hearing until the morning of the 56-year-old’s arrest. She said:
“I felt unprepared and exhausted, as the past five months have been emotionally and physically taxing… I was offered the opportunity to appear at the hearing and give a victim’s impact statement. Although I was scared, I wanted to tell the judge and Thomas what I feel.”
The politician was granted a $20,000 personal recognizance bond, and was ordered to turn in his passport, avoid contact with the alleged victim, and not leave South Carolina.
However, Dawn wishes the bond amount was higher:
“Obviously, I am disappointed that he did not receive a higher bond. I am partially relieved that my family and I received an order of protection, so that eases some of my fears… In the past, Thomas made threats in writing to ‘take out’ anyone who helped me regarding the assault.”‘
The 43-year-old caretaker asserts she is “not the only victim impacted by Thomas’ crime. Our families have suffered as well,” adding:
“I mentioned that a fortune such as his will never make me fortunate… He needs to be accountable for his actions and realize he is hurting people.”
Although Bravo made a statement that Ravenel will no longer appear on Southern Charm, Dawn is “disappointed” that the network hasn’t contacted her, and that the “statement was delayed until after his arrest.”
Despite his release, the nanny states “this is just the beginning of an extensive process that may include a trial,” and that “evidence will continue to be collected and evaluated, therefore charges may be elevated in the future.”
On Wednesday, a source told People that Ravenel’s former costars are “relieved” he will not be returning for season 6.
The insider dished:
“They’re relieved not to have to deal with Thomas on the show anymore… Thomas was a friend at first, but that changed over the years as layers and layers of his lies and manipulation were exposed. What he did to [baby momma] Kathryn [Dennis] was horrible, but the allegations from his nanny became the last straw.”
The source added:
“It disgusted so many of them on the show, especially [the female cast members]… They’ve all been keeping their distance since. He’s toxic.”
Overall, the cast is “looking forward to start filming again, and happy to be finally be free of that.”
In addition to Dawn, in May, Ashley Perkins came forward to share the story of her mother allegedly being assaulted by Ravenel at the end of their date in 2015.
