Timothée Chalamet‘s closest pals are said to be raising concerns about what his relationship with Kylie Jenner might be doing to his image.
As you know, Timmy’s Oscars campaign for Marty Supreme started out great, but then quickly crashed down. He ended up losing the Best Actor award he was slated to get to (a very deserving) Michael B. Jordan, and people within the industry have theorized this might have something to do with Kylie. Wow. Now, is this just masked sexism on their part or something deeper?
A concerned insider told OK! Magazine on Sunday:
“There is an increasing sense within industry circles that Timothée’s public image has started to blur into the wider popular celebrity ecosystem in a way that risks undermining the carefully crafted reputation he built as a serious, craft-focused thespian. The concern is that the attention surrounding his lifestyle and profile has begun to overshadow the work that originally defined him.”

A second insider echoed this, and said Timmy’s friends are starting to wonder if Kylie’s presence is ruining everything for the actor’s career:
“Those close to Tim are quietly questioning whether his relationship with a reality TV woman has played a role in altering how he is now viewed professionally, particularly at a moment when perception can be crucial. It is less about the relationship itself and more about how it feeds into a broader narrative that may be shifting the way decision-makers and audiences see him.”
Look, we’ll be the first to say even if Kylie does have something to do with the public’s perception, Timothée has had a huge hand in ruining his own image all by himself! We mean, what about those comments about ballet and opera? The Kardashians star didn’t have anything to do with that, and it had a HUGE hand in how he’s being perceived at the moment. Timmy is a grown man who’s in control of his own choices.
