During last night’s SAG Awards, Mean Girls mastermind Tina Fey dished on a potential Mean Girls musical, and we instantly slapped peppermint foot cream on our face in SO much excitement!
The SAG winner shared:
“We want to. I would love to [make a Mean Girls musical]. I’m trying to develop it with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock and I think Paramount’s onboard.”
Ok, so no news as to whether or not Lilo would consider replaying Cady Heron, but Tina DID let slip who she’d want for the HIGHlarious character of Regina George AKA Rachel McAdams‘ “cool mom,” originally embodied by the wonderful Amy Poehler!
Tina revealed:
“Maybe [Mariah Carey] can play Amy Poehler’s part in the musical.”
LOLz!!! This needs to happen… like NOW!
Mariah Carey is the COOLEST of moms, and we bet her boobz are rock hard!
