April 25, 2012 officially marks ten years since Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in that tragic car accident when she lost control and flipped her SUV over into a ditch.
TLC brought so much magic to the music industry. They REALLY helped define their generation, and things will never be the same without Left Eye!!
T-Boz reminisces and says:
The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it’s still something that hurts.
Chilli remembers her by saying:
Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn’t ever going to change.
So to celebrate Lisa’s life and the life of TLC, Chilli and T-Boz will executive-produce a biopic for VH1 about the band’s story, a brand new album, and a tour!!
The memories of Lisa should always be rejoiced, so let the celebration begin!!!
